High School I graduated with honors from Logan High School (Logan, Utah) in 1997. During High School I was involved in many arenas. With the help of leaders and my parents I received the Eagle Scout Award, was numbered among the National Honor Society and Who's Who in America students, activily served my community and church, played on the baseball and wrestling team, attended a technical school learning auto mechanics and auto body, restored a 1971 Bronco Sport and enjoyed mountaineous outdoor sports in Utah; mountain biking and snowboarding being chief among them. College I graduated from Brigham Young University (Provo, Utah) in 2004 with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and minors in Russian and Business Management with an emphasys on Information Systems. I had the opportunity to participate in student government (BYU Freshment Academy), directing and managing incoming freshment in their first year at the university. I was the webmaster for the BYU Constitution Club and was the "Featured Entrepreneur" in Marriott School's E-business magazine for my 2002 business plan & start-up of Worthnoting. During college I worked in IT support for the university administration and staff and also started and ran a few successful small businesses, Squeaky Squeegee being one which quickly became the market leader in residential window washing. Continuing Education Although formal education is an invaluable tool today, I find life experience to be the real teacher. As Tom Hopkins suggested, I continue to spend a small percentage of my income on material from leaders in various industries to train and improve myself. |
